If I give my mother some new foundation as a gift will she be offended? The formula she uses now is so dated and is totally the wrong color.
Carmindy:
She won’t be if you explain the benefits of the new technology in foundation. Buy one for yourself as well and try out the new formula together. Make it more of a discovery and less like a plea.

How do I get my husband to start taking better care of his skin?
Carmindy:
It’s not easy for a stubborn man but little tricks like putting skincare soap bars in the shower instead of regular soap will help. Buy a moisturizer with a built-in sunscreen and tell him how smooth and wonderful he looks after he puts it on. That will get him into the routine of applying it everyday and compliments work better then nagging.

How do I pick out a lip-gloss color for someone else? Is there a shade that looks good on everyone?
Carmindy:
Absolutely! I would buy a sheer berry lip-gloss with shimmer in it. This way she can layer it over lipstick or use it alone for a natural sparkling smile.
